If you are a administrator or engineer who need to handle Citrix NetScaler configuration, you may have come across the following situation...
Why the java applet never appears ? Always stay at 1% .. Wait...Wait...=.=
Finally, you see a box "Java Applet could not be loaded.
If you are familiar with command line of NetScaler, you will be happy as no Java applet needed for configuring NetScaler.
To load the configuration applet properly, you can try the following items:
1. Ensure Java Runtime is installed by checking Windows Control Panel as below:
and
Reminder: Never install multiple version of Java Runtime.
2. Configure Java Control panel as following screens:
set "Security Level" to "medium"
Clear the box " Keep temporary file on my computer"
3. Always activate Java Runtime in Firefox
After completing the procedures, good news will arrive. You can run the applet.
After click "Run"
Wait for a while... (don't be happy now until the applet appear...)
Click "Allow"
Configuration applet appears ! You can make change as you need.
